Liquid Oat Brans (LOB:s)
“Liquid oat brans” are obtained from oat bran with high total fiber and beta-glucan (soluble fiber) contents. The Glucanova process yields a smooth liquid oat bran base with a high total fiber content. We have an assortment of LOB:s ranging from 10 to 20 % beta-glucan content (20 to 40% total fiber). Our LOB ingredients make it easy to reach the beta-glucan levels needed to meet the EFSA (European Food Safety Agency), and FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) claims for cardiovascular health. LOB:s are suitable for applications in drinks, nutritional beverages, juices, dairy products (e.g., drinking yogurts), puddings, porridges, soups, ice cream, etc. and most probably the project you have in mind.
